After years in public education and ABA clinics, I set out to create practical tools that solve the everyday challenges faced by educators, therapists, clinics, and families.

My career has always centered around helping individuals learn, grow, and become more independent. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Master's degree in Exceptional Student Education before spending more than a decade working in public schools.

During those years, I served in a variety of roles supporting students with diverse learning needs, eventually becoming a Behavior Specialist. Working closely with teachers, therapists, students, and families gave me a firsthand understanding of the time, effort, and collaboration required to create meaningful supports that help learners succeed.

That experience inspired me to transition into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I began my clinical career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) before earning my Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Soon after, I stepped into the role of Clinic Director, where I led clinical teams (ABA/OT/PT) while continuing to provide direct support to clients and families. Today, I serve as the BCBA and Clinic Director at another small ABA clinic, where I continue to combine my backgrounds in education and behavior analysis to develop practical solutions that improve outcomes for learners and the professionals who support them.

My husband and I built out these tools because we've lived the same problems too. I know what it's like to spend evenings creating visual schedules, cutting out icons, laminating materials, attaching Velcro, and organizing binders—only to repeat the process for the next learner.

I've experienced the administrative challenges of managing clinic schedules, documentation, and treatment planning while still trying to provide high-quality care. Those experiences inspired the creation of Skill Bridge and Beacon ABA. My goal wasn't to replace the work professionals do, it was to remove the repetitive tasks that take time away from the people they serve.
